How PDFsss handles files, data, and analytics.
We do not use document content for analytics.
We track product usage, not PDF text.
For now, contact is handled through the app.
Who operates PDFsss
PDFsss is operated by G. Romero, based in Spain. During beta, contact is handled through the PDFsss contact channel via the Contact form.
File processing
Compress, Merge, and Split are processed in your browser tab using in-browser PDF libraries (pdf-lib and pdf.js). Your files are not uploaded to PDFsss servers for these basic tools.
What we may collect
- Tool requests and votes
- Contact form messages
- Data request messages
- Anonymous analytics events
- Anonymous browser/session IDs
- File type, file size and page count buckets
What we do not collect
- PDF content
- Extracted document text
- File names
- Private document data
- Exact file contents
Accounts
Public users do not need an account. Admin sign-in is used to manage the product.
Analytics
We use internal analytics stored in our own database. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other third-party marketing trackers.
Pro beta interest
If you choose to leave your email for PDFsss Pro beta interest, we use it only to contact you about PDFsss Pro or beta access. We do not sell your email and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
You can ask us to remove your message or email through the PDFsss contact channel via the Contact form.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data using the Data Request page.
Processors
- Supabase — database, authentication, and analytics storage
- Hosting provider — to be confirmed before full public launch
- Stripe — not active yet, planned for future billing only
