Do you upload my files to a server?
No. Compress, Merge, and Split run inside your browser tab using in-browser PDF libraries. Your file does not leave your device for these tools.
Do I need an account?
No account is needed for the basic tools. Admin sign-in is used only to manage tool requests, contact messages, and analytics.
Which tools are available?
Compress, Merge, Split, and Build With Us (vote on the next tools).
Is PDFsss free?
PDFsss is free during beta, with up to 5 tasks per day. If we launch paid plans later, we will say so clearly.
What do you track?
We track product events such as tool usage, completions, downloads, and errors. We do not track PDF content, extracted text, or file names.
How do I request a new tool?
Go to Build With Us, submit your idea, and vote on other requests. Popular ideas get built first.
Why are some tools hidden?
We hide tools that are not ready. We prefer fewer working tools over many broken ones.
